The SD-C is a super-balanced yet rich sounding microphone.  Not too bright, not too dark, and very transparent.

SD-C FX is a great small diameter cardioid for loud sources; Especially designed for use loud sources such as Drum O/H. Takes 154dB SPL!

SD-C  |  Cardioid pattern with a nice, flat frequency response for a true and neutral sound.  A very typical SD capsule, probably the one you'll use most often. Straight cardioids pattern with nice, flat frequency response with only minimal treble peak, giving a very true and neutral sound with just enough reach and directionality for most jobs. The proximity effect is totally predictable. Voiced between the darker KM-84 and the bright Schoeps CMC6.

HA-FX | We added a transformer for a little audio color. Also added a high pass filter and a pad switch for flexibility in controlling bass-proximity boost and high SPL source-material.
